Dissolve: Finding Beauty in Dis-integration
Mixed Media
I have practiced shamanism for over thirty years, and the first thing it teaches you is that scale is an illusion. The shaman's work is to read the invisible architecture of a place: to find where energy moves, where it stagnates, where it erupts.
My Dissolve Series emerged from working with disintegration as a sacred passage rather than an ending. Pigment breaks down. Form loses its boundary. The liminal space between one moment and the next is the space where I create.
This series is my attempt to make that threshold visible — to show that what looks like falling apart is actually a system evolving into something new.
